Sneak Preview, Alvin & Theresa
Santa Barbara wedding | Rincon Beach club | Alvin & Theresa
First of all congratulations to the newlywed! I had a great time two weekends ago at the Santa Barbara wedding of Alvin & Theresa ! Originally from Palos Verdes area they got married in Santa Barbara.
I ask myself why they got married out in Santa Barbara and then I got my answer at their engagement shoot. If you haven’t had a chance to check out engagement shoot here’s a link go check it out now. ( http://luquephotography.com/palos_verdes_engagement_session/) You will also fined out a little bit of there back story !
The gorges couple consists of Alvin and Theresa, two people that anyone would love to know. I met them for the first time when I took their engagement photos at and we hit it off. The bride’s dress was seriously gorgeous, And I’m not just saying that! ” I found my dress while looking at vendors online. I saw a picture of a woman in the dress and thought if I find that dress, I’m getting it. I found the dress at bridal salon near my house and when I tried it on I felt so beautiful. No other dress I tried on looked as good and made me feel as beautiful and confident as the one I choose. ” Said Theresa
We had a lot of fun taking wedding pictures, as well. They decided to not see each other until Theresa was walking down the aisle. The emotion I captured in Alvin, was truly priceless!
The wedding was at Old Mission Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara CA, the reception was at Rincon Beach Club, Carpinteria CA and was catered by Delicious Artistry, Ventura CA. They danced to their first song ”I’m Yours” By Jason Mraz which was played by DJ Patrick Butler. The Beautiful flower arrangements where created by Emlily Florist.
More from the bride !
“Luis was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day! He was on time, very professional, and easy to work with. The assistant photographers were also very easy to work and as a team everyone worked well together. Luis demonstrated his vast experience in wedding photography and we felt very comfortable letting him guide our photography session.” Said Alvin and Theresa
I asked them a few questions and here are there responds!
Any tips on how to prepare for the wedding photos?
Enjoy yourself, have fun, smile, and let go of any little details that didn’t work out the way you wanted them to. The charisma and emotion that you display on your wedding day will be captured in your photos, so have fun and be in love!
Any tips that you have about preparing your wedding party for the photos? What did you tell them, how did you get them to cooperate, what did you do or what would you have done differently?
I would have organized the Church formals a bit better because it seemed a bit chaotic getting people in an out of pictures quickly especially since we didn’t have a lot of time allowed for pictures in the church.
Any tips on what to bring to the wedding ?
Lipstick, blush, and a second pair of comfortable shoes.
